I was a Area Sales Manager with sse and i was one of the honest ones to which i explained everything the customer was doing not like ive read some of the reps were doing. Well i can guarntee if any of my reps were doing even the slightest mis selling to which ive heard about they would have been out of the door. My team had the lowest cancels and the lowest complaints and because we were honest all my team have now got jobs with other companys. I do believe customers are rude and they do think they know it all but when i explain to them they havent got a clue. I did have to deal with difficult customers on a lot of occasions but rather than lie to them or get into an argument with them i just thanked them for there time and went next door because my philosophy was every no brought me closer to a yes so to all those people who say sse are all bad they can go and take a running jump i was honest and am now honest in my new job with one of the other 6 energy companies so just to recap anyone with a bad opinion about door to door selling try it first and i think u will find its a hard job but rewarding and it puts food on our table. just to add on wot ive been reading ive read a lot of different opinions about S.S.E and i agree with some of them.
